The BMW Motorrad R1200C was a cruiser motorcycle that was offered from 1997 to 2004. However, if you're driving one these days, there's a good chance it came from between 1998 and 2002. Many versions were available during its career, from Classic, Avantgarde, and Phoenix to Montauk and Troika.
Early on, the bike incorporated a two-cylinder boxer engine with an 1170cc displacement and a 101mm × 73mm bore & stroke. Features included a Telelever front suspension, a single-arm Monolever swingarm rear suspension, an anti-lock rear brake, a 29.1-inch saddle height, and a high, wide, pull-back handlebar, among others. Later on, you could get everything from alloy wheels and braided brake hoses to an additional, vertically stacked headlight, fog lamps, and more.
